AI consulting in Barcelona: the people who analyse your operation are the ones who build it

If you run a company of 20 to 500 people and want to automate with AI, the first question isn't technical: it's who to call. Here is what we automate and what we don't, what we look at before proposing anything, what it really costs and how to vet whoever you hire.

Consultancy, agency or developer: the wrong question

A company that decides to automate with AI usually knocks on three doors. The consultancy sells a report. The agency sells a chatbot with a logo. The developer asks what you want built, and the conversation ends there, because nobody knows yet.

The problem isn't choosing well between the three. It's that analysis and construction sit in different hands. Whoever diagnoses has nothing at stake in the diagnosis; whoever builds has never seen the whole operation. Nexus Elite AI is none of the three. The analysis of your operation, under NDA, is done by the same two people who then write the code. That changes the incentive: if the report says you don't need an agent, there is no agent. If it says the problem is the process and not the technology, the process comes first.

What we automate with AI (and what we don't)

An AI agent, in our sense, takes a real event — an order, a signature, a request — decides what needs to happen, in what order and who or what does it, using your criteria and your margins, and leaves every step recorded. It works inside your systems: ERP, CRM, email, the warehouse, the accounting firm, a machine on the shop floor.

An agent is not a chatbot

A chatbot answers. An agent acts, inside your systems, and has to be supervised. If someone offers you an AI agent for WhatsApp at €200 a month with no implementation, it's a menu chatbot. And an agent nobody supervises degrades within six to nine months: prices change, products change, exceptions pile up. Supervision is part of the work, not an optional extra.

What it costs

We don't quote before looking at your operation. We do publish ranges: a point automation between €3,000 and €8,000 (2–4 weeks); a complete process for one department between €5,000 and €15,000 (4–8 weeks); several integrated processes with agents between €10,000 and €35,000 (8–16 weeks); a multi-department system with orchestration between €25,000 and €120,000 (12–24 weeks). Running costs sit between €300 and €2,500 a month depending on usage. The detail is in how much an AI agent costs.

Who we are built for

Companies of 20 to 500 employees in pharmaceuticals, B2B logistics, SaaS, financial services, mid-market e-commerce and manufacturing. Our stack includes OpenAI, Anthropic, Vercel, Supabase, HubSpot, n8n and Make, TypeScript and Python — and whatever your operation needs. Barcelona runs on Central European Time: a full working day overlaps with the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands, and the morning overlaps with the US East Coast.

What it will demand from you

How we start

Always the same way. Day zero: an NDA signed before you show us anything. Then the Nexus team analyses your operation and delivers a report with the exact changes, prioritised by impact on your P&L. Then you decide. Nexus Elite AI is an engineering boutique in Barcelona: two people, no juniors, no subcontractors, and never more than seven clients at a time. Apply and we reply within 24 business hours; if there is no fit, we tell you in writing.

Frequently asked questions

How much does AI consulting cost in Barcelona?

We don't charge for a generic report: the analysis leads to a costed plan. As published references, an AI audit by a boutique (4–8 working days) runs between €2,500 and €5,000, and implementation ranges go from €3,000–8,000 for a point automation to €25,000–120,000 for a multi-department system. The exact figure comes after the NDA and the analysis.

Do you only advise, or do you also build?

We build. That is the point: the two people who analyse your operation are the ones who write the code, so the recommendation and the implementation can't contradict each other. The code is yours, with no per-user licence.

How long until the first agent is in production?

A point automation goes live in two to four weeks; a complete process for one department in four to eight. What takes longest is documenting exceptions and measuring against a baseline taken before starting, which is why we never promise a percentage improvement in advance.

Do you work with companies outside Spain?

Yes, when there is a fit. The first step is the same wherever you are: an NDA signed before you show us anything, then the analysis. Invoicing is in euros.
